Selected shots were taken from the car chase sequence in Bullitt (1968) and recreated using a 16mm camera and motion-control rig. The movement of both camera and car from the original film has been translated into only movement of the camera, around the static car.
The relationship between object and frame in Steve McQueen's Commitment to Reality Part 3 is identical to that of the original film. These re-created movements were placed back into the structure of the original car chase.
